The St. James' Camera Club is composed of individuals with a wide spectrum of photographic skills, from entry level to enthusiast to professional. Programs are planned to interest all photographers, from beginners to skilled artisans. Guests and prospective members are welcome at any of the club's meetings.

 

Our discussions include:

  • Camera technology from point-and-shoot to professional DSLR

  • How to improve composition, exposure, use of filters, how to improve your landscapes, best portraiture and Macro medias.

  • Photo editing software workflow, in Photoshop CC,  Lightroom CC and PS Elements

 

Offerings:

  • Monthly Field trips 

  • Annual Exhibits

  • Workshops covering camera technique, composition, photo editing, etc.

  • Professional Speakers from the photographic community.

  • Organized outings for various photographic opportunities

  • Monthly Themes, challenges, slideshows and critiquing

  • Member's night, Q&A.

  • End of the year photo contest 

  • Juried exhibits

Membership:​

  • Annual dues $25.00  

In order to participate in our exhibits, competitions, attend our paid speakers live demonstrations, and Zoom meetings, you must be a member in good standing. 

New Members are always welcome 

  • We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM. Currently we are meeting online via Zoom. Contact us for updates on the status of in person meetings.

  • Meetings are held in the Parish Hall at St. James' Episcopal Church in Goshen, NY.

  • Arrive early to register. We look forward to seeing you there.
